  • as most of you know, i'm pregnant again and have hyperemesis. i have lost 25 lbs in one month and have been in and out of the hospital so many times. i have had a home nurse who still comes once a week and an IV at home. however i had to take the IV out since i was having anxiety attacks. which i still do.

emma's surgery is on the 21st of oct. please pray that i am well by then so that i can be there for my daughter. i think alot of my anxiety is from that and of course everything else.

    please pray for me....

  • surgery is again postponed. we got to the hospital by 5:30 and waited around. we even went through with the whole pre-op process. Emma had her happy juice and was a bit loopy. they had marked her eye so the surgeon knows which eye. then we are told that the cornea they were expecting went to san diego and the other one available is from a 40 year old and the doctor did not want to use that one. So he wants to wait until we get a better "younger" cornea.

the surgery will be in about 3 weeks. will keep you updated!

    thanks again.

  • update on 2nd cornea

we need to be at Children's Hospital by 5:30 am tomorrow, the 26th. We are the 1st surgery so hopefully we will be in by 6:30ish or so. It's not a long surgery but if they find evidence of cataracts then they need to take her lense out as well and put in an artificial lense which I'm not too sure of but is needed on top of the 2nd cornea transplant. So please pray that anasthesia will be ok and that she will wake up well, also for the surgeon (Dr. Song) and his staff, that hopefully there will be no signs of cataracts, and for us as we wait...

    Thank you.

  • update

her surgery has been postponed to next wed, the 26th. they didn't have a cornea tissue available for her. the one they had, the surgeon rejected it because it was not up to standard.

    thanks for praying!
